The main goal of the education offered by our Department is to endow our students with required skills to access the clinical and theoretical medical information, and think critically. Our Department offers problem-based learning, and the full-time specialist academicians teach the theoretical courses by involving the latest information and techniques. In addition, students put theory into practice under supervision of the academicians. 

  • Extraction of impacted or erupted teeth,
  • Preprosthetic Surgeries,
  • Dental implant applications,
  • Treatment of maxillofacial infections,
  • Treatment of traumas and lower and upper jaw fractions,
  • Treatment of cystic and tumoural formations in the jaws,
  • Treatment of oral disorders,
  • Treatment of salivary gland diseases,
  • Treatment of maxillofacial pain,
  • Treatment of temporomandibular joint disorders,
  • Treatment of cleft lip and cleft palate,
  • Orthognathic surgery,
  • Distraction osteogenesis, and
  • New developments in oral and maxillofacial surgery.

Theoretical and practical courses will be taught in the areas above. Furthermore, our University supports research projects and clinical trials about these topics.
