Date: 09 July 2021 Foreign Language Exam Results for Erasmus+ Exchange Programme (2020-1-TR01-KA103-081281 Project) The results of the English Proficiency Exam administered to select the students for student mobility for studies and traineeships in the (Fall Terms of) the 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 (Fall Semester) Academic Years as part of the Erasmus+ Programme have been announced. (Students announced to be “admitted” students in the list of successful students will receive a grant for the 2020 project, depending on their country of travel. If the admitted students renounce their rights to participate in the mobility, the “waitlisted” students may be admitted to the programme according to their Erasmus rankings and the quotas per faculty.) 13 students in total were gain right to benefit from the Erasmus+ for Learning mobility as “ADMITTED”. In order more students from different academic units could benefit from the mobility, grants were distributed according to the faculty-based highest score calculation. 5 students in total were gain right to benefit from the Erasmus+ Internship mobility as “ADMITTED”. Students who are eligible to receive a grant as part of the Erasmus+ Student Mobility for Studies can receive a grant for only one academic term (a maximum of 6 months). If they wish, they can benefit from the mobility in the second academic term without a grant, with the approval of the receiving institution and our university. Students who are eligible to receive a grant as part of the Erasmus+ Student Mobility for Traineeships can receive a grant for a maximum of 2 months. If they wish, they can benefit from the mobility and continue their traineeships after the two months without a grant. Students who are not entitled to a grant can benefit from the program with a "0" grant. While calculating the total of the academic performance and language proficiency exam results of the students who benefited from a student mobility for studies or traineeships in the same cycle within the framework of Lifelong Learning Programme or Erasmus+ Exchange Programme, 10 points will be cut from the total score for each programme benefited before (regardless of whether it is mobility for studies or mobility for traineeships). If students who become eligible to participate in Erasmus Programme want to renounce their rights, they must fill in the “Erasmus Renunciation Form” and submit it to the International Office via e-mail not later than 14 July 2021 Wednesday by 17.00. Students who want to renounce their rights later than the date specified will be considered to have benefited from the mobility, and 10 points will be cut from the total score while calculating the total of their academic performance and language proficiency exam results. Students who give up benefiting from the Erasmus program due to insufficient amount of grant should inform us whether they will benefit from the program until 01.09.2021 at the latest by erasmus@beykent.edu.tr email address. To the Attention of Students Passing the Exam: If the mobilities are affected by the pandemic or any other force majeure, the decisions of the National Agency will be in effect and relevant announcements will be made when necessary. Therefore, our University and the Turkish National Agency cannot be held responsible for any material or non-material damages that may arise. Students who have applied for the Fall Term may change their preference to the Spring Term. Those who wish to change their academic term preferences must submit their relevant requests to the International Office via e-mail. Students who wish to file an appeal to their exam results must submit an appeal form to the Registrar’s Office via oidb@beykent.edu.tr no later than 14.07.2021. Appeal forms submitted after this date will be invalid. The appeal form must bear the student’s signature. A meeting will take place for students who became successful in the exam. During the meeting, the staff will share key information about the programme, the next steps to follow, and required documents to submit, and there will be a question and answer section at the end of the meeting.
