Course Plan and Structure

The Course Plan includes theoretical courses, practical courses, laboratory courses, workshops and studio works, thesis courses, project courses, out-of-class works, traineeships, and workplace practices, etc. The course plans are drawn up in a way that relevant credits are collected from course categories with different ECTS credits to meet the qualifications defined in the National Qualifications Framework for Higher Education in Turkey (NQF-HET). The courses in the categories may be compulsory and/or elective. Students must pass the courses and receive the required number of ECTS credits to complete their studies.  Traineeship courses and practical courses cannot be replaced by any other course.

A course plan is planned to involve 300 ECTS credits in total for a five-year undergraduate or graduate education, and offered to the students in academic terms of 30 ECTS credits each. Nominal student workload predicted is 30 ECTS credits per academic term.
