Course Credits

Course credits are determined by the Senate in consideration with the students’ study hours and the credit range prescribed by the Council of Higher Education based on the NQF-HET for the degree level and field of the relevant programme.  Within the framework of principles determined by the Senate, ECTS Credits for the courses students will receive by the end of the relevant degree programme are calculated based on the students’ workload considering the learning outcomes which represent the contribution of the relevant courses to the knowledge, skills, and competences necessary for the degree level and field described in the NQF-HET. In addition, clearly defined theoretical or practical course hours, and the necessary workload for other activities prescribed for the students are taken into consideration to calculate ECTS credits.

To be able to graduate from a programme, students must pass all the basic compulsory courses in the five-year course plan. Also, they must pass all the clinical practice courses in the 4th and 5th year of the programme. All the compulsory theoretical and practical courses must make it to a total of 300 ECTS
