Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

Prospective dentists who are educated in the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery are able to perform most of the practices of this medical branch in both hospitals and their private clinics.

The Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery is a department which performs and manages required surgeries and treatments to correct the diseases, infections, injuries, and defects of the hard and soft tissues in the head, neck, face, jaws, facial area, and the mandibular area. These treatments include simple and surgical tooth extraction, impacted teeth removal, dental implant applications, surgeries of mandibular cysts and tumours, and reconstruction of mandibular defects, pre-prosthetic surgeries, surgical treatment of maxillofacial fractures, orthognathic surgeries, treatment of temporomandibular joint disorders, and temporomandibular surgeries.

Our Department performs surgeries under local and general anaesthesia, and treats dental diseases of disabled patients as well.
