Results of the Foreign Language Exam for Erasmus+ Exchange Programmes

(2019-1-TR01-KA103-062732 and 2020-1-TR01-KA103-081281)

The results of the English Proficiency Exam administered to select the students for student mobility for studies and/or traineeships within the framework of the exchange programmes in the (Fall Terms of) Academic Years 2020 – 2021 and 2021 – 2022 have been announced.

The placement results for our students who wish to participate in student mobility for studies and/or traineeships within the scope of the Erasmus+ Exchange Programme will be announced after the National Agency announces the number of eligible students to benefit from the Erasmus+ Exchange Programme and receive a grant for the Programme. The announced results are final in terms of evaluation for the Erasmus+ Exchange Programme, but they are preliminary in terms of the grant conditions.

  • Click for the list of students who did not succeed in the exam.

Students appearing as Admitted Candidates in the List of Successful Students are Candidates for grant, and they will be able to participate in the mobility as Erasmus+ grant students if and when the European Union allocates adequate grant and quotas. Students who have been announced to be Admitted Candidates will be eligible to receive grant for an academic term once the award of grant has been approved by the Turkish National Agency.

While calculating the total of the academic performance and language proficiency exam results of the students who benefited from a student mobility for studies or traineeships in the same cycle within the framework of Lifelong Learning Programme or Erasmus+ Exchange Programme, 10 points will be cut from the total score for each programme benefited before (regardless of whether it is mobility for studies or mobility for traineeships).

If students who become eligible to participate in Erasmus Programme want to renounce their rights, they must fill in the “Erasmus Renunciation Form” and submit it to the International Office via e-mail not later than 17 July 2020 Friday by 17.00. Students who want to renounce their rights later than the date specified will be considered to have benefited from the mobility, and 10 points will be cut from the total score while calculating the total of their academic performance and language proficiency exam results. However, this condition does not apply to the students who renounce their rights due to insufficient amount of grant after the grants have been announced.

To the Attention of Students Passing the Exam:

The European Commission and the Turkish National Agency have agreed and permitted that if the measures against the COVID-19 Pandemic affect the student mobility for studies and/or traineeships in the Fall Term of the Academic Year 2020 – 2021, the mobilities can start online as a temporary measure if the they cannot be commenced physically.

  • If the pandemic persists and thus the mobilities cannot commence, no costs/expenditures whatsoever shall be deemed to arise from force majeure; therefore, they shall not be covered since there will be no activities causing those costs/expenditures.

Students who have applied for the Fall Term may change their preference to the Spring Term. Those who wish to change their academic term preferences must submit their relevant requests to the International Office via e-mail.

Students wanting to appeal the exam results should submit their Letter of Appeal to the Registrar’s Office by 06.07.2020.
